Outstanding food and service! I got the salad with beef and chicken and it blew me away! Everyone there is so friendly!
A really excellent little restaurant! I thought their hummus was delicious, as were their fresh pita breads. I had the chicken kabob on pita sandwich and it was really good! Easily one of my favorite Mediterranean meals I've eaten in recent memory, highly highly recommended!!
Sam’s restaurant is one of my favorite spots in Davis. The entire family is always incredibly kind and generous, and the food is consistently delicious. My favorite dish is the falafel on pita, and it's the perfect lunch place for students since it's conveniently located just off campus. And make sure to save room for the baklava!

Sam never fails to treat us well and always greets my kids with a wink and a joke. While he claims to be lucky to have so many friends and customers, the truth is that we are the lucky ones to have him, his children, and his wonderful restaurant. Seriously, do yourself a favor and try the falafel with hot sauce, the lamb, the pita, and the hummus. And for bonus points, check out videos of Sam dancing while playing the Oud!
