What Albert Chang doesn't like about Pho Tasty:
Can't say too much about the atmosphere and service since I ordered to-go. Everything was clean and felt like there was comfortable seating space.As for the food, I ordered the bun bo hue. Not bad, but also not great. The broth was very light for a beef stew and lacked any sort of spice. There was also a very key ingredient missing, congealed pork blood.It was edible, and tasted okay. I've been coming here since they opened and through their mini make over! So glad to have a great pho place in town.We usually get seated right away and service is quick ! Both our appetizers and soups come out within 5-10 mins regardless of how busy it is. I've picked up take out which is OK as it's soup so you are fighting elements. But still great as long as you properly re heat. Meat is always packed separate as are the veggies.Chicken or beef, never can have a wrong chose.
The service was great and the short ribs pho !! Was delicious ?
This is one of the few pho spots in Davis and is not bad at all. It's usually never busy and portions are pretty decent (I get large)
