Open Rice Kitchen - Davis

We ordered 3 dishes, the house rice, orange chicken, and the Singapore special and they all had this weird taste. The quality of the food is very cheap but I guess that’s reflected by the price. The place is also very empty and dreary. The server seemed nice in the beginning but when she was bringing out our plates she was shoving the plates on top of a plate we were already eating off of. We were recommended this place but I don’t think we could ever recommend it to anyone else. By the end of it we were in so much shock about how bad it was that we couldn’t do anything but laugh about it.

That pork belly fried rice is immaculate. The salty pork belly mixed with the scallions along with that beautiful sunny side egg to bring it all to bring it all together all for just 8 dollars. The service was amazing as well. The male cashier was also extremely respectful and kind.

I am a fan of the food and low prices. But they gave my order to someone else and I had to wait a total of 50 minutes. I tried patiently waiting seeing that they had a lot of customers but nah that’s crazy keep better track of your orders.

Worker gave rude responses and told us to hurry up our order 2 hours before closing when we had only been there for less than a minute

I ordered wonton soup and the soup is extremely salty. Portion is good honestly with this price. But i wont come back
