For a casual dining experience at a resort, the food was surprisingly good. I especially enjoyed the local beers. The burger was fresh and very flavorful, and the fries were also tasty. Additionally, the soft pretzel was nice, and the cheese sauce was fresh. View all feedback.
What Drew V dislikes about Laurel Lounge:
We arrived at 7 PM and ordered an appetizer, drinks, and our main courses. While we did receive our appetizer and drinks (which were never refilled), we waited an hour for our meals. When we inquired about our order, the staff seemed confused and simply mentioned that it was busy. We tried to be patient, but after two hours, we asked again. I wasn't impressed. My order was incorrect, and the wings had an odd flavor. Additionally, the selection on the menu was quite limited.
3.5 stars. we lived in the lodge and are lost here. pub eating, good local ales and fast service, despite busy. we enjoyed the Brezel sticks with beer cheese.
Staying at Canaan Valley Resort, great convenience to eat here. Everything came out fresh and fast. Live music to add to the amazing food.
Cozy bar at the Canaan Valley Resort, with friendly bartenders and solid pub food burgers, pizza, etc. Avoid the chicken wings they're tiny. Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in Canaan Valley and you don't want to drive to Davis. It'salso one of the few bars in Canaan Valley/Davis that's open 7 days a week year round.
For bar food at a resort, it was pretty good. Beers were local which I really liked. The burger was fresh and very tasty. The fries were good as well, as well as the soft pretzel. The cheese dip sauce was fresh.
