Always stellar. Highlights for me are their lamb dumplings in vinegar broth, combo plates, eggplant, and green beans. I've been here over a dozen times and am always satisfied. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What Kevin W doesn't like about Hometown Taiwanese Kitchen:
Was looking for a Taiwanese restaurant and stumbled upon this place. Love the decor and the style of the place at the center of downtown. Braised pork over rice is probably one of the best I've had in a while and they are generous with the sauce on the rice! The perfect combo. The duck leg was over cooked or reheated. Super dry and was not desirable. Popcorn chicken was probably the worst dish as it was over coated w... View all feedback.
The food is fresh and very tasty. I especially enjoyed the dumplings. I've heard the Taiwanese are renowned for dumplings, and I wasn't disappointed .They have familiar Chinese food items as well as a few items for more adventuresome diners. The owner are very nice tooI highly recommend this place.
We went there a couple days ago and tried to ask for a menu or if we could sit at one of the many empty tables but the lady just stood there ignored us and then went on a phone call, which is fine but when she was done she proceeded to ignore us. Terrible service.
Best Chinese fish in west coast. Sichuan fish. Super fresh and Q bounce texture. Cant stop eating
Lovely place, great food, ambience and place were very neat. 10/10 experience. Server was really nice. Overall loved the place. Food was absolutely delicious!
This is not Taiwanese food. This is just Chinese food. Popcorn chicken is too crunchy and meat is dry. The pork ear with Sichuan spicy is totally not right. The only dish I can told you I like it is Chicken leg with rice 台式雞腿飯。
