Golden Sun Chinese - Davis

I do not normally write reviews, but I will for this place. Every time I have come here, the staff have been kind and helpful when it comes to deciding what to order. They always get the food done pretty fast. The food here is really good and is not very expensive. I wouls recommend everyone try this restaurant.

Ordered delivery from here. I've never had their fried rice before but damn, it's so good! When I ordered, I forgot you get free fried wontons after a certain price, but they were nice enough to include them in there. I also love that the food is so hot and fresh once it arrives.

I have always found the staff to be friendly, and the service quick and accurate. The lunch specials are a great value. There's not a lot of restaurants in the area, but it's nice to have some good places and variety. I would definitely recommend.

Blows the other Chinese restaurants in Davis away. Girlfriend loved the veggie chicken and the general’s chicken was amazing. It was a bit expensive, but what isn’t in Davis? The only con is the delivery time it was about an hour and 20 minutes. Still, good Chinese is hard to find in Davis, so despite the wait, Golden Sun is highly recommended.

The best Chinese food in Davis. Tonight we had beef chow fun with black bean sauce, chicken with plum sauce, wonton soup, and salt and chili pepper spare ribs, each of which was a cut above what you normally get. The place is rarely crowded, perhaps because of its plain appearance. The take-out menu is available for pickup or delivery and there is a lunch menu. I have been taking my family here for years and frequently get the excellent egg foo young. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and the owner does the cooking himself. Many vegetarian options.
