Bright Morning Inn - Davis

Make sure to do some research before you visit this restaurant. It is located in a 19th century building from 1896 on the main road in Davis. The atmosphere is not modern or fancy, but you are paying for the convenience of the location. There is a coffee shop right next door and off-street parking behind the building. We stayed in room #1, which is a family suite facing the main road and above a cafe/bar, so it can be noisy. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the uncomfortable mattress and pillows, which lacked padding and support. Despite this, we found the stay enjoyable and suitable for our needs in Davis. We would consider staying here again if we returned to the area.

Upon arrival, the air conditioning was not working. There was no fire suppression system in place and no overnight staff available. Nearby activities include Blackwater Falls, only five minutes away. The rooms were rated a 2, the service a 2, and the location a 5.

Bright Morning Inn is the top dog-friendly hotel in Canaan Valley and beyond. The cozy, stylishly decorated rooms are located above a fantastic restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The owner has created a delightful establishment with delicious food, charming room decor, and a beautifully landscaped garden. The owner's impeccable taste is evident in both the cuisine at Milo's restaurant and the outstanding musicians he brings in for live performances. The location can't be beat, right in the heart of Davis near restaurants, microbreweries, shops, waterfalls, and hiking trails. After staying at numerous places in Davis, Bright Morning Inn is unquestionably our favorite. We would love to call it home if we could, but for now, we'll just keep coming back!

If you need a comfy place to stay, you can stay here. However, they don't have mNy amenities like iron/iron board. No microwave or refrigerator or ice machine. I am glad there was a hair dryer and shampoo supplies, etc were there. Towels were stocked, too. There was no hotel available in the close vicinity of blackwater State Park. This was the one but no available to book online. We drove there, and we were happy the room was available. The room 7 air conditioner wasn't working, so they gave us room 8. Parking was free from the backside of the restaurant. Walkability: Right on the street with very nice shops, restauratns and an ice cream shop

Food tasted great could have just been something else not the food but after my stomach was not good so eat at your own risk
