In the pub side it says that it is a dog-friendly pub, in which it is a very dog unfriendly pub, apparently it was earlier but stopped since coviding laughs. these blooming dogs and there codify germs
New renter, two weeks ago. visited with 5 friends. excellent welcome, great food and good service. it will be loved to be back.
Just finished an excellent Sunday Roast collected as a takeaway. The roast beef was tender and tasty accompanied by some excellent roasts and veg. Best takeaway for ages and will certainly be back.

Guests rave about the warm and inviting atmosphere created by friendly staff and accommodating managers. Although some noted a few service hiccups, the consensus highlights the impressive value for money and generous portion sizes. Diners appreciate the delicious pub grub, exemplified by standout dishes like hearty Sunday roasts and classic sausage and mash. The pub also boasts an excellent selection of drinks, including real ales. With its rich charm and welcoming vibe, the Plume of Feathers is a must-visit spot.

Organised a car run for 18 people finishing at the Plume of Feathers for Sunday lunch. I would like to thank Rob and staff for a lovely meal and excellent service. Would thoroughly recommend.
Delicious pub food served in a classic atmosphere. The portions are very generous. My dad loved the Steak and Ale pie, and I had the 5 bean chilli. The kitchen was happy to substitute rice with a small jacket potato for me, which had a delightful rich tomato taste. The chilli didn't have much spice, but I didn't mind at all!
We had a lovely meal here. The homemade cottage pie was amazing and huge with plenty of cheese on the top and a good selection of fresh vegetables, I thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend had the steak and ale pie full of meat and very tasty with lashings of gravy and mash. Extremely reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere and we both thoroughly recommend a visit. Family and dog friendly.
The food was ok, it came out a fryer. If you don’t want to spend your money this is the place for you. The “chef” refused us puddings because they had one table of 13 in that had already had their mains. They had no starters, there were an abundance of teens up and down the stairs drinking shots and we were given our bill without even finishing our mains. No drinks were offered, no extras. We had to walk to another pub for a hot drink and pudding. Not sure how they make any money if they can’t manage 2 tables.
Great welcome, good choice of real ale and other drinks, a real English country pub. Fantastic lunchtime meal with service to match, good food, well presented just what we hoped for in the midst of a walk along the nearby Grand Union Canal. Well worth stopping here and will certainly eat here again when we are back in the area.

I would not recommend the food, but it's a nice place to have a drink. Food quality is rated 1 out of 5, service is 3 out of 5, and atmosphere is 4 out of 5.
Even though I didn't try any food, the real ale at this restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making it worth a visit. I would rate the service and atmosphere a 5 out of 5.
First time returning to the plume after 22years,I've been in weedon this last year and for no real reason not been in.. really disappointed with myself as the pub was great, great atmosphere warm welcome from the barmaid, unfortunately we had missed the time frame for food,we waited and food was spot on,well portioned nice and hot and real tasty.. thanks chef,Will be returning more often now as great relaxed place to be. Only suggestion is a mixed grill on the menu /Sunday carvery.. thanks all keep up the good work Parking: Parking available within pub grounds
