Bigby's - Davao
Bigby's
Description
Located on the second level of Abreeza Mall in Davao, Bigby's offers a diverse menu with generous portions. While many diners appreciate the flavorful baby back ribs and tender steaks, others have expressed concerns regarding inconsistent food quality and service delays. Some patrons found items unappetizing, with complaints about hair in dishes and pest sightings. Nonetheless, the ambiance is pleasant, and staff often demonstrate commendable service, especially in challenging situations like evacuations. Overall, Bigby's has the potential for a satisfying experience, though improvements in service and food consistency are needed to elevate its dining reputation.
Feedback
Bigby's is situated on the second level of Abreeza Mall in Davao. They offer generous portions of food with mostly delicious flavors, except for the carbonara pasta which I would not recommend. The baby back ribs, pork steak, and appetizers are particularly tasty. I paid a total of 2,000 pesos including drinks, which I found to be reasonable.
I am a big fan of bigbys because it is a comfort food for my family, but the industry in the city davao must stand up! no customer service and bad quality of food in contrast to cagayan de oro. the worst bigbys industry we have ever eaten.
The staff are accommodating. The place feels homey. The food is delicious 8/10 experience on it. I recommend the baby back ribs the carbonara pasta. Will be back to dine in again.
My wife and I visited this restaurant recently. The ambiance was nice, however, when our food was served, we found a piece of hair in it. I alerted the waiter and later questioned whether the entire dish was contaminated or just that portion. Additionally, to our dismay, we spotted a cockroach crawling on the wall. We recommend the restaurant renovate and return to its previous standards of cleanliness and service.
I am a foreigner from the US and she clearly tried to take advantage of that. I wanted the steak that was 800 pesos but she said that they were out and they only have one that is 1400 pesos, and even pointed to it on the menu. I asked for the 600 peso steak but again said they were out and pointed to the 1400 She clearly tried to take advantage of me as a foreigner and I did not fall for it. I ordered the carbonara instead which wasn't the greatest.
