There was a buffet available and the price for the dish selection and quantity of food was outstanding but we went for the renowned Won Ton Soup. Amazing flavor and won-tons. What Danny Coppola doesn't like about Hong Kong Cafe:
We ordered off the menu and some had the buffet. The rice was awful, the soya sauce is sour. We ordered veal and received breaded bone. The buffet ran out of plates 3-4 times and when we did get them the buffet was empty. The water was even not to standards. We use to go hear a lot in the past and it has changed a lot. The restaurant is clean and good service but not good food. View all feedback.
Service both in the restaurant and take out has always been superb. The food is always hot and never luke warm. The menu offers a great variety to suit everyone's taste buds. Will go there often.
We come here once in a while and always experience good Chinese food and a Chinese atmosphere. The restaurant has that feel with the Chinese decor. We were served by a friendly lady as well. Even tried Chinese beer, which was actually pretty good! Been...here for family occasions and their buffet is really good.
Four of us were going out for Chinese Food. Our first choice was closing at so we decided to try the Hong Kong Café. We all decided on the buffet and we were impressed with the selection. The food was hot and tasted good....I had not been there for a very long time and the décor has not changed much. The same tables, counters and lights. The staff were polite and made fresh coffee for us. The price was reasonable and they offer a senior discount.
On the main street of Dauphin. Not particularly crowded but seems to do a decent business. The owner/operator is polite and attentive to customers.
Good food and friendly staff. My wife has food allergies and when advised they were able to make a special effort to get her a meal that was individually cooked for her but was also really good. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good...Chinese dinner
