I recently visited Darwin on my holiday and had amazing dinner at this restaurant. They have variety of north indian food. We ordered tandoori mix grill, kadahi paneer, handi goat, chicken biryani and cheese garlic naan. The food was full of flavour and authentic just like we get in India. What User doesn't like about Tandoori Vibes:
Upon arrival at the restaurant, the waitress asked if we would like tap water or sparkling water. I chose sparkling, to find that we were to be charged $9 for a 700ml bottle!The food was really flavourful and good, until I bit into a large wad of some sort of herb or spice. This was a spur of the moment restaurant, it wasn't very busy, compared to the other restaurants along the street, which always makes us think. But we went for it, and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was made fresh, and authentic Indian rather than some Indian restaurants where we have had to ask if it is Indian food or Australian Indian food, as some restaurants cater for the local palette rather than proper Indian food. A review of dining at a restaurant specializing in sausages.
Poor service. Incorrect drinks served on three separate occasions, incorrect meal brought out, and spicy curry delivered instead of mild as requested. Rice was brought out 10 minutes after the curry. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
