What a wonderful tasting experience. First time here and loved it. You choose your selection of meats including camel, crocodile, emu, buffalo etc including the traditional like lamb, beef and chicken. You then select your different herbs vegetables etc which are all super fresh. Then you select your sauce which there is a great variety. I chose a sechuan and chill sauce. Then you choose your noodles or rice. The meal is turbo cooked in a super hot wok and voila .... delicious to say the least. The only negative I have is that if pick a selection of the game meats its hard to work out what cut of meat your exactly eating. I also have to make mention of the great service by Wassa who has been there for apparently many many years.
What can I say, it is an unique dining experience, you have 11 meats to choice from and a huge range of vegies, once you have done that there are about 10 different sauces to choice from, give it to the kitchen and watch the chef cook it on the wok.....excellent......well worth finding this restaurant
A unique resturant, where you can pick your own food and watch it cook. We were greeted and seated by the lovely owner who expained how the system works and assisted us with our choices. Food was all fresh and our meal was just delicious. I loved this resturant, it will definatly become a favorite each time I visit Darwin
You select and they cook your meal and you pay by weight. We tried all the local meats, croc, buffalo, roo, camel, duck etc and the fresh veggies. You select your sauce and in 3 minutes your meal is on the table, hot and steaming and delicious. The Aussie lady owner is just a delight as is her assistant. The venue is one block off the mall below a car park but it is set up pretty well that once you enter, you are part of the scene and it is popular with the locals. Manumans might just beat it for best Asian but liked the concept. Wines are good quality at a very fair price.
Great experience with fabulous friends and family, amazing fresh food, awesome that you get to pick what you want
