My family and I have visited the Resort several times. The architecture and landscaping have a tropical feel to them. The room size is adequate, and the balconies in the apartments where we stayed were small but cozy for enjoying the view of the gardens, birds, and insects near the water. View all feedback.

I had heard great things about this restaurant, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. My two friends and I ordered steak, but our orders got mixed up and the portions were small. The waitress seemed indifferent. The chocolate cake we ordered was tasty, but disappointingly small, and the souffle was unpleasant. Overall, the experience was not worth the money we spent. We do not plan on returning.
We went to Redsalt Darwin at Crowne Plaza Hotel [sooon to be named The Hilton Hotel on 1 May 2013 a couple of weeks ago for a coffee. Given it was close to lunch, we decided to have a snack and ordered the crispy calamari. Not often do you get the traditional small calamari packed with flavour [not those huge calamari rings that are often chewy and tasteless! . To our surprise, out came the small traditional calamari rings and boy did they taste great. Served with some chunky chips and light salad, they were amongst the best they we have ever had... and we have travelled our fair share! Our host Graeme was fantastic! Great service, always smiling and very happy to look after us, even though we initially only went in for a coffee. So good was it that not only did we order another round of calamari , we booked a family lunch for 16 people. We had the lunch on Sunday having organised the day with the Functions Manager Tom. Tom was super helpful and was quick in responding to any queries we had leading up to the day. Tom arranged the Sunday and left us in the very capable hands of Michael for our lunch. We ordered the Garlic Trio of Breads [Super Tasty ; Tandoori Chicken [Delicious! ; the Meat Lovers Pizza for the teenagers [Niiice ; the Garlic Lemon Prawns [Heaven and the Calamari. While the Calamari was not the calamari we had the weeks earlier, they were still very nice! We also ordered side dishes of Rocket Salad with Parmesan; Greens; Roast Vegetables and Chips. All was Soooo nice! The Chef really has to be commended for his delicious Menu and his delicious Delivery! Michael also had gone to the trouble of buying a candle for our birthday cake [in case we forgot!!! you really don 't see that level of service any more, so it was an absolute joy to be so well looked after!! Coffee was served with our Cake, which topped off an amazing afternoon. Great Food Great Service Great Value Great Atmosphere Great Staff ! Happy, Happy, Happy! There are stand alone tables, booths or lounges for you to sit at. It truly is a Little Gem. A must to try for couples, as a family or as a group ...
A great location as well as wide variety of tempting foods. Classic service, well prepared offerings and depth in wine list. Enjoy
Food was well prepared. Nicely dished up and presented. Very tasty. Service was better than most other restaurants.
