Aqua - DARWIN CITY

After getting the booked out message from another restaurant, we googled 'mothers day lunch' in Darwin and came up with Aqua: 'poolside dining'. On arrival we had the choice of poolside, inside or anywhere else in between. Not a soul in sight. Oh well, we took a chance and were underwhelmed by the menu choice. As for Mothers Day, it may as well have been Wednesday afternoon in spring-time. The food was just OK, the salt and pepper croc I had was overwhelmed by a peppery sauce. Definitely no room for subtle flavours. We won't be going back!

Excellent A la Carte Menue for dinner, great staff service. Breakfast was also very extensive and delicious fresh with juices and good coffee.

The service here was wonderful and the food is superb - some quirky dishes here too; really enjoyed our lunch here.

Tired after a long journey, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant and what a good surprise, we were not expecting this ! The theme of the week was mushroom. We loved the mushroom soup and main was really good as well.So the following day we decided to go again and tried the lamb shank. Yummy !Tiramisu was fine.Every single dish was good.

Surprised there are not more reviews for this-perhaps it changed names. We had beautiful meals, perfectly cooked tasty steak, butter chicken and kids spag bol. Service excellent. Could do with a longer wine list-only one type of each wine. Orange creme brûlée delicious.
