Was Anonym at Steam Up a mag?
The only problem with Steam Up is that it's not often enough. The dumplings are fresh, they are good and you can watch them being made. The prices are great value. You have nothing to lose, give it a try, you won't be disappointed. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Steam Up:
Hungry again and I chose Steam up restaurant for some seafood laksa and a few dumplings. After waiting for about 20 minutes they came out with the dumplings and gave them to the wrong table ;( Then the laksa showed up and 10 minutes later the dumplings. I was satisfied but everything was very expensive, but tasty too. I personally won't be going there again. -Davy View all feedback.

I gave 5 starts just that my review could pop up on the top. I order Uber eats starving to death was digging into my food and found housefly in the sauce while dipping. This is just unacceptable. I was disappointed as hell, when spotted that in my food. Guys it’s not about making money from food. I almost puked.
Really liked the tasty food, unique seating and friendly service.Chicken and mushrooms ,sesame balls and dumplings very nice.I love that the cooks wear face masks as they prepare fresh food and are visable to diners behind a glass wall.Reasonably priced too.

Good taste. Not sure their foods are MSG free since the taste was a bit too strong.
If you're looking for an authentic taste of Taiwanese and Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go. The braised pork rice took me back to my holiday in Taipei. The beef noodle soup is also a perfect 10/10. This will definitely become a regular spot for me!
I visited this restaurant with some friends for dumplings, and it was absolutely delicious! I can't believe it took me so long to discover this place. The dumplings were incredibly fresh and flavorful. We ordered a mixed plate of fried dumplings and a mixed plate of steamed ones. Each type had a different shape, and I wasn’t sure which was which, so every bite felt like a delightful surprise with fantastic flavors. The thick chili sauce, which the owner mentioned is made in-house, was incredible and really elevated the dumplings. I will definitely be returning, as I absolutely love dumplings!

Came for some dumplings and wontons for a snack, but had rice and dim sims as well as a lunch instead. The food was just like being back in Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai. Staff were really friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. Would highly recommend anyone to go there and will be making this my new regular restaurant.
This restaurant is perfect for a weekday lunch! The vegetable dumplings with chili soy are delicious and affordable. The miso soup is also a great addition to the meal.
All looked okay until we watched the woman who took out order then proceed to help in the kitchen with bare hands the same hands with handle the money. When I asked why she wasn't wearing gloves she looked at me dumbly. No sense of hygiene whatever. Definitely wouldn't go back.
Lunch with son and brother in law. Quite fast and range of flavors. Fried rice especially good and generous serve other items also good.
Sorry I hate to write a bad review but I wish someone else did before I wasted my money here. Worst steamed dumplings I 've ever had. Xiao long bao is meant to have a nice wrapper like all other dumplings but with soup inside. The wrapping was thick and dry and no soup inside. Nothing tasted fresh. The vege on the side is ice berg lettuce looking slightly fried with soy sauce. Awful I don 't understand what people are raving on about. I came on a Monday at lunchtime. Maybe there 's just no better option in Darwin but not going back, sorry guys.

My partner and I have enjoyed several lunches here. If you want a light meal, this food is authentic, freshly made on site, tasty and healthy. The soups are perfect if you are not feeling well. The Sesame balls are to die for! Lovely family; always obliging. Clean and seating on Chinese furniture.
Have eaten here on many occasions, and my favourite is the pan fried pork dumplings. The food is always fresh and fast, the staff are always friendly and helpful. If you like pan fried dumplings (gyoza style) - these are the best in Darwin. Also love the other dumpling dishes, fried rice. Highly recommended food.
