In this context, "small" doesn't quite capture the warmth and aromas of homemade Syrian cuisine, especially from Mama's Syrian Food. The ordering process was enjoyable, and the generous portions made for a delightful evening. We ended our meal with baklava, leaving me eager to try more items from the menu! View all feedback. Syrian food is typically characterised by its generosity but Damasquino falls short. We ordered a meal for 2 and we were still hungry after eating there even though it cost a fortune. Skewers were not fresh and were also tiny. In 40 years these were the smallest skewers I have ever had (imagine normal size satay skewers etc and then imagine if they were 1/2 stacked only).
