The restaurant is no longer in operation. Stall number 8 has been converted into a salon.
Great curries and the mango lassi is just amazing...all served with a smile! Definitely one of my favourite places to eat, and you can order great morning tea pastries as well.
Oh what a great find, tucked away in Victoria Arcade, Smith St mall.. A selection of flavorsome Sri Lankan dishes not to be missed... We've returned regularly on a Friday evening and never been disappointed. Great food, friendly staff and many thanks for the delicious goat curry ... we will be back .

Ammas Cafe serves the best Sri Lankan curry in the world! I am not exaggerating, the chef is truly talented. The flavors in the curries and vegetables are exceptional. If I could, I would eat here every day. Finding high-quality food in Darwin can be challenging, but this cafe is an exception. Located in a hidden alley, it might not catch your eye at first glance, but trust me, the food is worth it. Don't hesitate to visit, you won't regret it. You're welcome.
