called to the breakfast before they go up to the jubilee tower. the service was excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent, along with a very reasonable price. will definitely be back for more. forget to mention the great outdoor seating area when they are on the go with the dog View all feedback.
What Philip Gardner doesn't like about The Royal Arms:
Late Friday morning for breakfast in half term school holidays, quiet in the older rooms where we were sat. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
This place is our go to! The food has been amazing everytime and the portion sizes are perfect. We never have room for dessert which is a shame since the homemade cakes look tasty! My fiance said its the only place that pours a decent ale too. The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. Such a lovely atmosphere, wish we lived closer so we could have a few drinks in the evening.

Really friendly pub. came to the birthday of my grandmother and all the employees made them very welcome. steak and ale pie is beautiful
After a nice walk it was so nice to stop at such a delightful pub for some delicious foods. the cheesecake and chips were made to house and made perfection. my friend had the fish and chips with which she was equally satisfied. the pub has recently been renovated to a high standard. the staff is very friendly and helpful. will definitely call again.
Friendly, warm and welcoming country pub. Great food!!
