Contribute FeedbackTrendz restaurant, located in a hotel in Burnside, offers a friendly environment perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and a meal. While the food may be average for a hotel restaurant, the exceptional service makes up for it. However, their Christmas buffet is highly disappointing, with frozen-tasting turkey and lackluster desserts. Despite this, the restaurant's regular menu offers delicious options like salmon with risotto and fish and chips. With attentive servers like Jane and Paul, Trendz provides a cozy atmosphere and memorable dining experience for guests, making it a must-try for those looking for a satisfying meal.
We were blown away by how good our meal was tonight. We went here for convenience (we were staying in the hotel) but we never expected the quality of food that this chef prepared! I had the chicken tikka, and my husband had beef and scallops. Both were incredible and were something to be expected from a top-tier restaurant. Flavours were amazing! The chef even makes his own ice cream and we all tried his homemade creamsicle ice cream and it was spectacular. Our server Jane made the evening too - very personable and attentive. All in all we can say in all honesty that we have never had a meal at a hotel restaurant that comes close to our experience here!!
If you are staying at the hotel, working in Burnside, this is a friendly spot for glass of wine and dinner. The food is average for a hotel restaurant. The servers are excellent and very welcoming after a long day at work.
Right on site of a beautiful hotel.Menu was easy to read and understand.Wide variety of food groups and beverages available.LeeAnne was our hostess and bartender.Excellent service.Food was excellent.
Myself and 6 friends went to Trendz for an evening meal. Aimee was our server and she was amazing. I ordered the baby back ribs and it was the best ribs I've had in a long while. It came with potato and corn on the cob. I finished off the meal with the baked triple chocolate cheesecake. One of the best things about Trendz is the wine selection. We had a bottle of Peter Lehman Shiraz and it was actually quite affordable. We will all be back....often.
The staff were great and Ashley was great. One person in our group had the pulled chicken BBQ sandwich and loved it. The sweet potato fries were great. A couple of us had fish and chips. The fish was dry and perhaps overlooked. That is why I give the restaurant a 3 rating. I would likely return to try a different item. The haddock was just disappointing. I loved how they had crayons and colouring books for the little girl in our group.
