Moxie's Grill & Bar - Dartmouth

Our first dinner in Nova Scotia with a group of 12 was the start of an amazing adventure, bringing together travelers from different parts of the country including Calgary.

This restaurant is a typical chain eatery with something for everyone. While nothing stands out as exceptional, its cool vibe gives it a club-like atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I visit this restaurant often and we always have a great experience. The interior design is very high-end, with dim lighting and a relaxed atmosphere.

My wife and I have been to Moxie's quite a few times and are always satisfied. We arrived shortly after 6:00pm and were able to get a booth right away. We started with the small order of double-cheese nachos, which are a favorite. My only complaint is that they never give you enough salsa. I ordered extra, but those small metal containers don't hold that much. I like salsa and could have used at least two more.I usually get a steak, but went with the Double-Stacked Turkey Club sandwich with fries, which was very tasty. And again, when I asked for ketchup, I received a small container which held a very small amount of ketchup. My wife was undecided, so she asked our waitperson, Christena, for a recommendation. She recommended the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni, which my wife enjoyed very much. She said that it stayed hot until she finished.We didn't have dessert, as we had other plans.Christena, our waitperson, was very friendly and professional.A very nice restaurant, but for the prices you pay, they shouldn't skimp on the sauces.

The food here was v nice, I had the lemon Haddock and it was huge at a reasonable price. Would go again if in the area.
