Love this place and the staff! Food is home cooked and delicious. Have been there twice recently and both times the food, service and staff were excellent. Upstairs there are two rooms of hand made crafts for sale. Great place to look if you are waiting for a table! View all feedback.

Emailed to find out when they are open but never heard back. So won’t be going there. Too bad as it seems to be ok can’t fill out some answers as we never got there so ignore date when we were there and our assessment...of overall rating View all feedback.
This would be a convenient stop for a breakfast or lunch if visiting Lawrencetown Beach or driving highway #107 towards Sheet Harbour. It is not in Dartmouth as suggested by the address...it is actually a 20-25min drive from the city (but a nice, scenic drive if you take route 207 that hugs the coast). Note that you could blink and miss the turnoff for the restaurant...there is a small sign on the road. The food is fresh and homemade (and the mayo was light): daily soups, quiches and desserts and freshly cooked lobster chunks in the lobster sandwich. My only complaint was the bun that the lobster was served on...it seemed more like a hotdog bun than the panini roll described on the menu. The decor is cute, with hand-crafted items for sale (also a craft room upstairs). The prices are very reasonable.
Homemade fresh everyday. Always enjoy eating here for the FOOD, Service and Conversations with friends and visitors from all over!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I went in to Brigette's as I was intrigued by the Acadian decor and kind of wanted to go to the museum but it was closed. Stepping into the restaurant, it is a cosy, well decorated and all around friendly place! Lots of cool stain glass and you never know who else might be dining there, as I met up with some American tourists and we discussed Canadian politics among other things. They thought it might be a good idea to have a prime minister with a French background. I highly recommend the breakfasts as the eggs benedict looked delicious and fisherman's breakfast looked really good too. I had a coffee, the fresh brewed house blend, free refills. 5 stars.
This is my second meal here and each time has been worth the visit the portions are good home cooked and fairly priced, my wife had the Chicken Pot Pie also good . their menu is based on Arcadian Recipes, they can seat up to 28 people if you are looking for somewhere cozy to have a small get together.
