What User doesn't like about Janina's Cafe:
Went today picked up lunch, saw online their ceaser wrap supposed to be really good. Not the case, barely any chicken in it, very dry salad. Not much to it. I shall stick to the ckn ceaser wraps at Burnside pizza they are full and...amazing. Won't be back. View all feedback.

If you can find a restaurant with better quality food, better service and just an all around good feel about the experience anywhere in the province, please let me know and I will try to convince you otherwise. Michael, Anna and their mother Janina are wonderful, amazing folks and are another perfect example of what good things come from accepting immigrants to our country. They have made our province a better place to live for all of us.
My wife and I had lunch here today while in Burnside. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The food was reasonably priced and pretty good. My goulash was so/so, but the sweet and sour meatballs my wife had were exceptional. Would recommend.
This is a good place to grab lunch if you're in the area. The service is great and food overall is very good. From what I've tried the best is pan fried haddock on Fridays. Yum!
At Janina's, the food is terrific - every time, but more importantly, they are a great team of people who seem to genuinely care about serving their customers. They are always upbeat, friendly, and fun. Today, I had mushroom meatballs over rice. It cost about $10 with taxes. Everything you get at Janina's is made like real home cooking. I caught a sneak peek at the specials board for tomorrow, and tomorrow is Mac & Cheese Day. You wouldn't want to miss Mac& Cheese Day, nor Lasagna day. If you are able to get to Janina's early enough - like 11:30ish, you may score a fresh homemade roll. Believe me, if you love melt in your mouth bread rolls, you will love Janina's dinner rolls. They have a good selection of hot and cold options every day, they always have a soup, and the have a few sweets options too. The sandwiches they make are excellent - beautiful fresh, crisp veggies. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of well made food.
