The first time I ordered from here the rice was a little firm for my liking but tasted good. I just ordered again and rice was perfectly done! Egg rolls are very good, not the best I've tasted but very good. I also had the ribs and chow main which was really good. They forgot my cans of pop and when I called to tell them they were very apologetic and said they'd come back within 15 minutes. Not only did they deliver... View all feedback.

We were excited to try this restaurant because of their great reviews. The staff was friendly and even though we got take out, the restaurant looked nice. They forgot my cans of pop and when I called to tell them they were very apologetic and said they'd come back within 15 minutes. Not only did they deliver the pop quicker than I expected, they threw in 4 extra egg rolls for the inconvenience. I love seeing a restaurant who recognizes their mistake and will compensate to show you they care about your business!
We were excited to try this restaurant because of their great reviews. The staff was friendly and even though we got take out, the restaurant looked nice. When we got the food home everything was hot with large portions. We started with the Won Ton soup and even though it was very hot, it was far from the best compared to many other restaurants in HRM. Our egg roll and spring rolls were greasy and only one bite was eaten from the egg roll. My Soo Guy was over cooked making it very tough and so was my beef and broccoli making it soggy. My wife's meal was equally as bad. We threw away 90% of our food. We will not risk going back when there are so many restaurants close by that are much better.
I was very surprised with the taste and quality of the food. I rate all Chinese Food Restaurants in comparison to “Fung Wah” in Halifax, which is unfair to the majority of restaurants. I found myself eating here today with a co-worker for lunch. It’s a place I drive by every day, on the way to my office, but had no desire to try it until another co-worker suggested it.The parking is limited and the service will not win many awards for attire or professionalism but he did what was asked of him, he took the order and delivered the meals in good time. The atmosphere is not that appealing and my expectations were low as Fung Wah sat in the back of my mind. The dishes arrived with a generous portion of extremely fresh and perfectly flavoured food. Both of us ordered different meals and both of us were very happy with our meals. I can see many visits in the future as it appears that Fung Wah now has some competition in metro.
Ordered supper from them and watched as the open kitchen produced from scratch..i had very good lemon chicken ! portions were oversize. .great! price..wee bit high but worth it
We ordered in from Hums kitchen last week.Only place in town that would deliver out to Eastern Passage. They are located in the middle of no where and I wasn't expecting anything special.I was pleasantly surprised. The spring rolls were fantastic, fried rice and chow me in were super delicious, they were fast and the containers it came in were nice too! Very happy!
