Belmont Cafe & Catering - Dartmouth

I don't know if it's still called the Belmont, or if the other name is just for catering or something. It was totally empty when I went, the woman was friendly when I ordered, but barely talked and sat in the back of the room. Food was okay, not expensive, but similar food can be found nearby for similar prices. Her school-age children arrived from school, and wandered around and they all talked (a bit loudly) about their days. I think this should've been done in the backroom, even though I was the only person there. She didn't say anything as I left, either.I'd stop back in if I needed a quick lunch and couldn't get anywhere else (running to get ferry, etc) as it was rather quick, but I wouldn't choose to go back, or recommend it.

You can get all day breakfast here, the service is quick and the food is always hot The place is easy to get to just up from the Ferry terminal. Really do like the coffee here. The place has been open for a long time.

I have been here many times over the years and the food is always fresh and hot. the service is quick and cheerful and the coffee is always good.

Stopped in for lunch & ordered the chicken clubhouse wrap. Great taste & decent prices. Great for a quick meal!

Typical sandwiches, typical salads, how can you charge $8 for bread from a bag and packaged meats? I was working off a recommendation from a friend and was highly unimpressed. Maybe their catering of special events is better or their captive audience from the offices for lunch keep them afloat.
