Only for 34 years in this pub! by five different licenses, each of them has laid his own slant on the pub and how it is operated. the girls have followed in this tradition and do a good work by doing it their own wise, but the theme of a great local pub served excellent beer and looking for the five and three teams. amy lou x

The right north beer and the friendly pub in the city. I only go in for a few on a Friday night, but it's good craic with the regulars and the staff.

Absolutely top notch. the girls behind the bar know their beer and know how to create a really friendly atmosphere. that makes all customers welcome. the quality of the beer is impressive. I will definitely go back to a point when u next in the opposite.

Been in this pub when among the last two owners and its much brighter, re-decorated, cleaner place now. we love our real ale and know that we are being pampered for the choice here. really friendly bar staff, great selection of drinks and snacks (esp the black scratches! . reasonable prices to other pubs in the city. only negative for me is that the lights are a bit too bright so that the cozyness takes away. we will continue to visit

Great traditional pub with friendly staff good well kept ales and a good selection of spirits wines and soft drinks. Would recommend a visit to all age groups. Well done Lou and Amy for all your hard work so far.xx
