This grill is excellent! The appetizers were good, nothing special. I tried the 2 meat sampler with ribs and pulled pork, along with sweet potato casserole and a float. It was amazing! Everything was delicious. I have found my new favorite BBQ place! I will definitely be returning. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Holt Brothers Bbq Darlington:
I recently dined at a Southern-themed restaurant and found it to be safe, but the prices were a bit high. There was something slightly off about the experience, although I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. We tried the buffet, which offered a variety of fried and greasy dishes that my Southern palate enjoyed, but my stomach did not. The barbecue was decent, but I have had better for a lower cost at local spots. I... View all feedback.

Hello, food lovers! If you happen to come across this review, consider Holt Brothers BBQ as your next must-visit spot. As I searched for a parking spot, I recommend having all-terrain tires to navigate through the concrete holes in the lot. Despite my initial doubts when I saw the empty dining room during lunchtime, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall cleanliness and unique atmosphere of the restaurant. I quickly found a cozy corner booth to enjoy my meal, as I was there for the food, not the decor. After waiting patiently for about 10 minutes, I learned that orders should be placed at the register before sitting down. This was a standard practice, but I wish there had been clearer signage directing guests to order first. Once I received my food, I was impressed by the presentation and taste of the pulled pork plate. The pulled pork was juicy and flavorful, making it one of the best BBQ dishes I've had outside of Memphis. The sweet potato casserole was a standout, though I would have preferred it with marshmallows and pecans. The mac n cheese was good, but not my favorite. Overall, the dining experience was delicious, affordable, and the staff was friendly. I give Holt Brothers BBQ a 4-star rating and look forward to returning in the future.
My son and I were fortunate to discover this restaurant that we had never tried before. We were in town from Pennsylvania for a race. There was a wide variety of delicious food to choose from. We ordered the chicken and sausage platter, and it was excellent. The baked beans were the best I have ever tasted.

I ordered onion rings as a side dish, which were tasty but expensive at $6. While they were enjoyable, they were not worth the price for my family to visit regularly. Overall, I was left feeling disappointed and in need of some relief for my indigestion.
I thoroughly enjoyed my teriyaki chicken taco. It was packed with flavor and the fries were perfectly crispy and piping hot. The meal was one of the best I've had in quite some time.
