The food here is absolutely amazing. My table shared corn fritters, roti, pineapple fried rice, red curry, and ginger stir fry. The corn fritters and pineapple fried rice were everyone's favorite, and I encourage people to try both. The other dishes were good as well, overall a very delicious meal. View all feedback.
What Tate Jakubowski doesn't like about Kindness Cafe:
Unfortunately, it appears the owner cares nothing about the quality of the food, and the chef even less. The same selection of frozen veg thrown into every dish, along with uncooked tofu. Huge slabs of uncooked eggplant. Burnt tofu cakes. The only discernable flavour: sweet. When ordering curry, you're asked of you want it hot, medium or mild. If you choose hot, they charge you extra. Phenomenal food and service, great value and presentation. (I think I may be buying these dishes for my new place! The seawood tofu slices in my noodle dish were like savoury vegan sausage, and every dish is garnished like little jewels. Intimate patio dining in the evening, and there is a steady stream of delivery people leaving with bags of deliciousness throughout the night. Fun people watching on this quiet nook in the Darlinghurst neighbourhood. There are lots of wonderful Thai places in SYD, but this is my 'Karma ' favourite. Try some ginger lemon tea or BYO!
Love this place! Delicious food even better service! The owners are the nicest people you will meet! Best Roti we've ever had! 5 star menu! Would definitely go back again! Would recommend to anyone who loves vegan food! #veganfoodheaven
Absolutely amazing food. The flavours were on point and the portion size was great. Highly recommended if you want that Thai cuisine fix.
Absolutely Fabulous ! Without a doubt THE Best food I've had in a restaurant in Sydney. . . The food, vege/vegan, was fresh, clean and perfectly cooked. The service was also fantastic and even though they were one short in the kitchen, we didn't have to wait long for our meals. I HIGHLY recommend Kindness Cafe. Just a note though they don't cater for raw vegan the salad was really small and mostly lettuce. You'd probably need to take along a few extras to add !
Can 't believe I waited 2 months to visit! The food is wow. Legit thai and the tofu 'fish ' cakes are to die for. No missing out as a vegan here!! The owner is super lovely and so passionate about her business. Can 't wait to visit again
