Who would have thought that hidden right under our nose in the heart of Darlinghurst, was a hidden rooftop gem where you enjoy a drink and a meal under the mood lighting of beautiful fairy lights. East Village Hotel with all the fairy lights, the open space and panoramic views of Sydney make this an ideal romantic dining experience. We felt like we 've just visited one of Sydney 's most secluded restaurant and bar. I... View all feedback.
What Денис Шевченко doesn't like about East Village:
we have tried to reserve the dach for our engagement party. the constant attempt to get information about their functions were difficult with poor communication from the function manager. we have confirmed with the hotel that we would like to book on a specific day what they have confirmed was available. we had only one last question about the booking form before we submit for which no body came back after several em... Br/> we came here for the roof terrace bar and winter experience. it was very nice and cozy with the lights and heating. The most interesting escape was the smokey crumbed camembert. it was beautifully presented and very aromatic. Food and drinks were quite generic and was ok.Service was prompt and the personal was friendly. It would be nice to come back for drinks in summer.

It is a great space that is easy to shape at night with a beloved, work drinks, function or poker night and play at night! as much to love about the place as every floor tries to build it own identity under the same kitchen. it is a relaxed casual lad’s lad art of space that is easy, portable and not pretentious that I like. the newly renovated roof bar above is a large space with couches, barstools and also offers seating. the cocktail master behind the bar in this night was chris and he compiled 5 cocktails (rondo splash, birds of paradise Rum/vermouth dazzle, **** mary, the tabasco with their own Siracha house...read more
3.5/5 the roof area is a beautiful intimate bar/restaurant that feels separated from the hectic of the cbd. they get a great view of the city, if they can also get a window seat from which there is a lot. burgers are good; especially liked the sortiment of the vegetables in the village of burger, but nothing to write home and are a bit overpriced, even if you look at the recording of fritten.
Our daughter (a local chose The Rooftop Terrace at the East Village Hotel for her birthday lunch : We were so lucky to have a fabulous day, and were lucky enough to be given a table, in spite of them not receiving an earlier email to book a table . With a lovely view of the city skyline and and fabulous weather, we placed our orders for drinks and food, Ronod Spritz (their version of Aperol , beers, Mojito's and **** Mary's. Food was: 4 x Porterhouse steaks (cooked to everyone's liking , 1 x sobu noodle salad (lovely flavours! and daughter was disappointed to find she'd JUST missed out on the Kingfish Carpaccio (her favourite where ever she goes! Soon after taking our orders...read more
