You never know what's in this city around the corner .. and this place, literally a block that I eat all the time is an absolute rock star. First, very Japanese and a very authentic atmosphere. Grief It's a small place, but it feels really comfortable, and the service is very friendly and excellent. Grief Given the name of this place I had to try the Don. I did not go with the chicken Katsu. In view of my high expectation, the court did not disappoint - damn that Don is good! Perfect (seriously perfect) soft rice. Wet, juicy chicken covered in a beautifully crumbled crumbs. And everything covered in a soy sugar egg mixture easily fried and draped over everything. The pickled ginger is like the icing on a cake, so good. Grief I want to go back and have a bowl now! Come there

It was pretty busy for... read more Cheap and yummy does the trick!<br/ <br/ Walked past during my lunch break and popped in to grab a takeaway chicken katsu don for $11.50. It was pretty busy for a weekday so I had to wait about 10 minutes for my food but hey that means it's cooked right there and then yeah?<br/ <br/ Got back to my office and see that I have inside the bag... two containers. One is a smaller one with soup. The other was the massive bowl of chicken katsu don! And when I say massive; it was massive. Way bigger than many other asian takeaway I have had in the city.<br/ <br/ The ton of rice and the chicken was so plentiful that I couldn't even finish the meal!<br/ <br/ As I was waiting for my meal, I saw people eating dishes in and the bento box looked delightful... the lunch special is about 14 dollars and looks to be great value. I will definitely be coming back!
