We visited Della Hyde for a few cocktails. Located near the start of Oxford St, it’s a short stroll from the CBD. Whilst a different style, the vibe is similar to Lobo Plantation (as is their quality fit out). The music was good. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Their signature cocktails were really enjoyable. Will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What Taya Schneider doesn't like about Della Hyde:
Great bar for food and drinks. Good music. Staff are friendly and efficient too. They do $1 dumplings on Tuesday nights and $1 wings on Wednesday nights. The fried chicken was tasty and boneless. The sauce didn't stick well though. The quesadila was pretty good too. They were out of squid. The shoestring fries were flavoursome but they were not shoestring - standard hot chips size. They have a good selection of drink... View all feedback.
Della hyde has a feeling of a pub in a guy when they enter, but it is nicely joined together. the service is very friendly. Tuesdays are $1 dumpling days at della hyde. they're worth it. especially the dumplings. the vege noodles are ok. they have special every day of the week. I'm trying. they have a decent sort in alcohol, but found it a little hard on the bag when they are a student. a good place to visit a one-way one.
Great event, beautiful decor and would be a great intimate place for a date or few cocktails with friends. two down, music is terrible and eating is so salty that they need expensive drinks to wash the salty taste of everything. if the dj played a better music and the chef put the salt, would be a 5/5.
Brilliant! This quaint little underground bar is so wonderfully aesthetically pleasing it's dressed to the nines in Wes Anderson inspired decor; the staff, service, menu and music are no exception. It's my favourite place in this ENTIRE city
Loved it! Great atmosphere, drinks food. The music was a bit eclectic but a nice mix up. Great winter bar! Recommend to get in early to secure a seat.
I went to Della Hyde last night with an old friend and we were both really impressed. It's a little cocktail bar on Oxford St and is a pleasant reverie from the pubs and clubs on the strip. The atmosphere is really cosy and calm, but as the night went on it picked up and had a really fun feel to it. The decor is just beautiful with gorgeous Art Deco kind of mirrors and Hollywood lights around the bar. Adorable. There is table service with a tab which is nice, no awkward waiting whilst the other person leaves to order drinks. The cocktails were delicious if a little weak. Of course I had to try the praised salted caramel espresso martini and it was delicious as expected. The nibbles were...read more
