Bar Coluzzi - Darlinghurst
Bar Coluzzi
Description
A cafe in Darlinghurst has received mixed reviews from customers. Some describe the coffee and service as drab and disappointing, while others praise the fresh ingredients and friendly staff. The menu is criticized for being tired and carb-heavy, but the cafe is praised for its cozy atmosphere and delicious food, such as the turkey, cranberry, and avocado sandwich. Overall, the cafe seems to have potential but could benefit from updating its menu and improving its consistency in service.

I enjoyed a good sandwich from this cafe today. I ordered a turkey, cranberry and avocado on dark rye. It was nicely made with fresh ingredients and generous. There were a few things they offered, but didn't actually have though. The cafe itself is small, but there's lots or seating outside. Staff are lovely, very friendly and service is responsive. No wonder it's popular. Well done and thanks.
Wow!!! What a stellar double-espresso!!! Strong and not bitter!! I could easily go another!! Definitely coming back next time I'm in Sydney!
Old school. Bar Coluzzi is such an institution in Sydney, it absolutely reeks of history. It's worth a visit just to check out the photos that line the wall, and that testify to the place that Bar Coluzzi has occupied in the hearts of Sydneysiders for so long. The menu is old school and reasonably priced. The coffee was fine, not exciting but perfectly drinkable.
We visited this quaint café in Darlinghurst for brekkie that has both inside and outside seating. Inside is cosy and there is boxing memorabilia that plays tribute to Luigi Coluzzi who was one of the men who introduced the espresso to Sydney.
