The on... read more Very nice family run restaurant. We had lunch here on a Saturday and were the only patrons in the restaurant for ages. Really nice food and very filling. The only downside is parking in the area - it is the pits. Might have been better of an evening as I assume there would have been more diners.

It seems to be very dirty, particularly the unprofessional looking and behaving old guy who is making the grill. His nails are full of black mess which is disgusting. They charge $35 for 4 pieces of lamb cutlets and cutlets are a low-quality grocery store lamb cutlets. The salad is also same, it's like a salad package from a supermarket. Overall, it's a dirty, unprofessional and very bad in value restaurant.

With a variety of seafood to try and tantalising Croatian flavours, The Balkan won’t disappoint! I definitely recommend their platters and their take on potato salad which is so good!
