It is one of the few remaining hometown bars where you are treated like a welcome guest. You can relax or strike up a conversation with the regulars. You always feel welcomed when you walk in. The door and the bar staff are easygoing and not pretentious (shoutout to Darien and Jim). You might even end up sitting next to a celebrity or someone from the local sports teams. You never know who might walk through the door! You can order food from the backstreet restaurant (with big portions), or go to the chic new Goose restaurant, or enjoy the scene in the bar itself. Ernie’s is a great spot to meet up and catch up on what’s been happening in the city for years.
