George and his team were very personable and made us comfortable throughout the evening. Each dish was beautifully presented and the taste was absolutely delectable. We tried the chef's special menu, which... read more We had a wonderful dining experience at Coromandel Darien. The Indian food was delicious and the service was excellent. We tried the chef's special menu, which was surprisingly affordable. The Sri Lankan style shrimp, Hariyali grilled sea bass, naan, and nawabi hundy curry with peanut sauce were all exceptional. This restaurant stands out for their hand-selected, rare wines from exclusive vineyards, such as the 2003 Jaison Red meritage wine. Highly recommend for a unique Indian dining experience.

The hot sauce on the side wa... read more The Butter Chicken was disappointing; instead of the typical shredded chicken, it was served as Tikka and tasted excessively sweet. The hot sauce on the side was overwhelmingly spicy. The Calamari Coromandel was too soggy and missed the crispy texture that is usually expected at other restaurants. I cannot recommend either dish for anyone looking for an authentic flavor.

While the food can be excellent at times, there are occasions when it falls to just average. The prices have surged to unreasonable levels, and the quality of the food doesn't justify the expense.
