Dardanelle has been a tough place to find a great meal since the Catfish N closed. Tarascos is the best place in town. The Mexican food is tasty. The food is well-prepared and served quickly. The staff is very attentive. The prices are very reasonable. I visit Dardanelle often and I rarely eat anywhere but Tarascos.

Happy Hour here is 4-8 and they have $3 margaritas, which is great! Though, they are $6 at other times. The only food I've had here is the Tony and Mary, one salmon taco and one shrimp taco. Both are highly seasoned with a chipotle sauce and they come with a large amount of mango salsa which is delicious! This dish is very good. Though, it is really small and comes with no sides for $10. The huevos and chorizo are delicious! They have plenty of veggies mixed in as well. The skillet potatoes are not that great, though. They don't taste like much, just smokey.

I came here with two friends and it basically spiraled downhill from the start. Let's do the positives first though: 1) the food looked good... Ok, now the negatives: 1) never was given a refill after being out of my drink with 5 minutes of sitting down, 2) the bathroom had 1/4 of standing water under the sink (I hope it was water), 3) our food was brought out roughly five minutes apart for each of us, 4) the food tasted average at best, 5) we (adults) were seated in a room alone at the start and then were surrounded by families with loud kids despite the restaurant being empty (we listened to fifteen games or rock-paper-scissors), 6) the traditional fresh chips at the start were cold and stale, and 7) I had to go get our ticket as we waited over ten minutes listening to kids being quite loud... Would I go back? No Would I recommend? No

In fairness I'm not a big fan of restaurant Mexican food. Comparing this to others I've been to....it was ok I guess. Another issue was that the days heat index was around 110. Mexican food is definitely not appealing at all at that tempature but my daughter who was visiting wanted to go there.
