I lived in Italy for two years and this place hands down has better pizza than that entire country. The pizza dough is a work of art and you can see the craftsmanship they poured into getting it right. Albert Einstein in that kitchen. Occasionally they'll put a burger or a chicken sandwich on the menu that matches the excellence put into the pizzas.I think they're only takeout, and you need to order a day in advance... What Kathy Schreiber doesn't like about Pizza Jawn:
I ordered a Grandma with sausage, peppers and onions and a round margherita. The curst on both was quite good. The downfall of both, however was the sauce. It was salty enough to choke a horse, like a whole box of salt fell into the pot. It was barely edible. I'm a person that salts just about everything, so I'm not that picky. Cost was over $60 for the 2 pies. View all feedback.
Had some take out slices and they were warmed up hot for us! My grandma slice had some colder middle section (cheese not melted) but very delicious.

We walked out of a nearby favorite (because of the wait time) and strolled over to Pizza Jawn to give it a try and boy are we glad we did. First of all, the person who served us was quite friendly and patient in explaining the different pizza offerings. We decide to go with one of each: Grandma, Detroit, and Round. All three were excellent. The restaurant is strictly “to-go” with zero seating except for some snazzy black couches for waiting. The pizza didn’t take long to be ready so waiting wasn’t a problem. We will be back to try the white pizza soon. Of course you can order ahead and not wait at all. Parking in the Manayunk area of Philadelphia is rough so be prepared for that headache and pay your meter! Philly is ruthless with parking tickets.Vegetarian options: Excellent choice for vegetarians.
Not my typical choice of pizza but it's extremely fresh from toppings to dough superb quality cheese and meats. I'm use to the greasy slice pizza but this was amazing and filling from first bite!!!!
