The line was already forming at 1145am. We were the 10th people in line at that time. My husband said it’s really good the first time he had it and it was only $10 last year, but now it’s been increased to $20 plus you get a fresh fruit. He basically fill up the to go box entirely. What Will Ready doesn't like about Octopus Falafel Truck:
I was excited to try this place, but I found it wasn’t to my liking. The wait is long, so if you want to try it I recommend getting there before the 12pm lunch rush start. The owner is certainly interesting, he told me about the health benefits of lemons while I waited. I found the food to be pretty good, though for $20 I expected a bit more finesse. Update: I have not seen Gus in 5 weeks. Does anybody know if he changed his location?
Can someone please update if they have seen Gus recently? This is the best food in Philly
$20 CASH ONLY for a very full mix of the most delicious chicken, falafel and handmade pasta. Usually covers 2-3 meals so it's worth it
You just need to experience it to believe it. No ordering, just go up to the truck he gives what he is preparing for the day, and it's phenomenal!!!!! But bring your own fork
I just got around to trying out Octopus Falafel today and would highly recommend!! the quality of the food is amazing
