Ordered delivery on ubereats. There was a buy 1 get 1 free deal for the rainbow roll so I got that. Food was ordered and delivered within 30 mins. The rolls were a bit small. But the fish was fresh and the rice was properly seasoned. Had actual ingredients and wasn't just all rice. Pretty good for a bogo deal. View all feedback.
What Joshua doesn't like about Kaizan Modern Japanese Cuisine:
Really bad experience. We had a reservation for 7:30 and got the all you can eat. It was about 40 minutes before they were ready for us to order. I didn’t get my first sushi roll until about 9:10. My appetizer had come reasonably quickly. By the time I finished my first roll, the kitchen was closing (it closes at 9). 2 other people at my table didn’t get food until about the same time. Samurai sushi provided fish that had not been properly sanitized before being served to customers. The surface appeared to be clean, which makes it even more alarming. I had diarrhea for several days after consuming it. I hope all customers pay attention to their health and avoid taking risks.
We literally loved our dinner in this charming little Japanese restaurant in Philadelphia, in the very pretty Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. Although it doesn't seem like much from the outside, this restaurant is very well decorated, charming and up to date. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The service was fast and courteous. Not only was the presentation of the plates perfect and successful, but each meal was a pure delight. The best Asian restaurant I have eaten at so far. We were even given a truly exquisite unexpected dessert. We will return with great pleasure on each of our visits to Philadelphia!
Japanese restaurant that serves sushi and dishes. I chose beef terryaki served with vegetables and the salad that came with the dish. The dishes are plentiful. The sushi and sashimi are excellent. I will return on my next trip to Philadelphia.
Absolutely love the place ! The sushi is great and the happy hour is a must ! Great service too!

My appetizer had come reasonably quickly. By the time I finished my first roll, the kitchen was closing (it closes at 9). 2 other people at my table didn’t get food until about the same time. The rolls we received didn’t match what we ordered. I didn’t even get the same number of rolls that I ordered. Obviously you can’t do all you can eat if you have to wait this long for your food. It came to $45 with mandatory gratuity.
