I ordered two platter specials (one Pollo Guisado and one Pernil). They were both seasoned well, but the chicken was slightly dry. The Tres Leche was good. This is a small location that is decorated nicely and very clean. View all feedback.
What Monica Puentes doesn't like about Boricua:
I ordered a chicken stew and got some chuncks of dried chicken hardly any stew and the rice tasted burnt .. not happy at all .. oh and the salad was ok.. will not be returning.. View all feedback.
This was my first visit, and likely not my last. When I entered, the atmosphere was very welcoming, positive as well as clean. The food is fresh, delicious and on point. And the service is outstanding.Check them out if you’re in the mood for some Puerto Rican food.
Excellent take out spot!!! The staff has always been pleasant, the decor makes me feel like I've been transported to a PR gift shop and the Food is utterly Amazing!!!
I got the pork, salad, and rice platter, and one bite is all it took. The food was genuinely good, it made me happy. Thank you.
Deeeeelicious new Puerto Rican place near northern liberties/fishtown. We got the pernil (roast pulled pork) platter with rice and potato salad and the Mofongo (plantain-based starch) with Chicken. And it’s delicious and plentiful. The food is flavorful and seasoned just right. They were real nice. And I love the little flags lol. Will definitely be coming back.
