It was fresh, warm, gooey, and the crunchy sweet crust was just right. They also had banana pudding and lemon meringue pie available. Overall, it was an ideal stop for a late breakfast on our way north after a lovely week at Gulf Shores. The staff was friendly, and it was clear that everyone knew each other, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We definitely plan to return next year. Regarding kid-friendliness, our children can be quite picky. While we ordered from the kids' menu, the waitress kindly offered to let them choose anything from the buffet that might interest them. Many larger restaurants can be strict about such things, so I appreciated that Streets was more accommodating. I even encouraged my son to try a bite of the catfish, but he missed out!

I noticed that the fried oysters came highly recommended, so I had to order some. The service was outstanding—the staff were incredibly friendly, and they even offered me a drink and a place to sit while I waited. Although I declined the drink, I appreciated the thoughtful gesture. On my drive home, I couldn’t resist sneaking a taste. Let me tell you, the food didn’t make it back home with me! I devoured those delicious fried oysters before I even reached halfway to my destination. They were large, juicy, and packed with amazing flavor—you could really tell they were fresh! I would definitely recommend stopping by!
