I noticed that the fried oysters came highly recommended, so I had to order some. The service was outstanding—the staff were incredibly friendly, and they even offered me a drink and a place to sit while I waited. Although I declined the drink, I appreciated the thoughtful gesture. On my drive home, I couldn’t resist sneaking a taste. Let me tell you, the food didn’t make it back home with me! I devoured those delicious fried oysters before I even reached halfway to my destination. They were large, juicy, and packed with amazing flavor—you could really tell they were fresh! I would definitely recommend stopping by!

That's the vibe it gives; a down home country kitchen where you just come in and make yourself at home. You can smell the fried chicken from the parking lot and what an amazing smell it is! I opted for the country fried steak and was happy with my choice- it was enough food that I had it for lunch and I'll be having the rest for dinner! The crab claws were so fresh I think they may have caught them that morning. Everything was hot and fresh and tasty and the service was as friendly as it comes. I was disappointed that there was no longer a salad bar- but our waitress offered to make us a salad so that's not really a valid complaint. I'm sure I'll eat there again and I'd recommend anyone passing through looking for a nice home cooked meal to definitely give it a try.

The seafood is okay but the star is... read more I was shocked to see the ratings on yelp for this restaurant! It's been around for decades and it has good home cooked food. The seafood is okay but the star is the daily special and buffet. The service has always been good here. The staff is just great country folks who have been friendly and helpful. Don't let the reviews on here fool you. This place is good
