Good Mexican cuisine.. The Prickly Pear serves really good Mexican cuisine. The Tamales and Chili Colorado were excellent. High quality ingredients and delicious rice and beans. All classic Mexican dishes. Beautiful atmosphere at Blackhawk Plaza and cheap. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Prickly Pear Cantina:
Not so superior that it is worthy of a long compliment yet not so terrible that it is worthy of a long rant. With that being said, the food here are quite delicious for those who want a real Mexican cuisine. I would recommend trying the grilled mushrooms. The service here is notch at the top and is self-explanatory when food prices and top expectations are considered as a factor for blackhawk. View all feedback.
Nice place for the family, but it does not have so many shops for shopping!
This restaurant has the best Carnitas!! You have the correct saltiness/citrus balance. They have good prices and very friendly staff. Very good

Like the place and location, but the staff is not very friendly. I recommend the habanero enchiladas, they are spicy but worth it. Guacamole was not so expected. Margaritas and micheladas are good
We came here ere for Father’s Day since there was also a car show. First time here and we loved it. The Taco salad was great and I loved how it looked like a giant taco! Made for fun pics. Everyone liked what they had. Would like to go back again. We got seated fast and ate outside with the beautiful view of the pond and ducks. Loved it.
