This bakery is kind, generous and a huge impact to the community. When I went to pick up my bridal shower cake, there was a whole line of loving customers in front of me. Karen, the owner was taking the time to catch up with each person and ask about mutual friends. With the plethora of personalized graduation cookies around the store, I could tell the bay area adores this little store. You can tell they work hard and care about what they do.The bridal shower cake was fluffy and everyone loved it. All my aunties said not too sweet , which is the highest compliment you could ever receive in asian culture. I don 't normally like cake, but theirs was so good.I 'm over the moon that my wedding cake will be from Old Towne and I can 't wait to continue to be their regular customer when I start my own family. Everything about them is awesome.

Five stars and more! Karen went above and beyond for our wedding. My husband has an allergy to soy, which includes vegetable oil (a common ingredient in cakes). Karen rose to the occasion and revamped her recipe to use canola oil, which meant the world to me! The cake was delicious (at least one guest commented that it was the best wedding cake she’d ever had) and the presentation was gorgeous! This little shop has our love and loyalty for any future baking needs

My experience with this wedding cake bakery was a mix of positives and negatives. While they made it convenient to schedule a time to sample their cakes and place an order, there were a few disappointing aspects.On the positive side, it was easy to arrange a time to pick up cake samples and discuss the cake layers for my wedding. This aspect of the service was hassle-free and efficient, allowing me to explore different flavors and make informed decisions.However, when it came to the design of the cake, I encountered some issues. Despite providing a photo of the desired design, the end result differed. The color on the cake was much bolder than the faint color depicted in the model.Additionally, I was not aware that the bakery exclusively uses fondant for all their cakes. Had I known this beforehand, I would have requested a different option, even if it meant compromising on the specific design.If precise design and the absence of fondant are important to you, I recommend exploring other bakery options.

This place makes the best cake I've ever tasted. I would love to tell you which flavor is the best but my husband and I were honestly impressed with all of them! Our wedding guests kept complimenting the cake as well.

The yummiest, best looking custom cakes and just the nicest people. Highly recommend this place for all things sweet! The owner is super thoughtful and goes above and beyond. Don't worry about the line outside, it typically moves fast. They also have outdoor seating.
