Akira Bistro - Danville

As a first-time customer, I was introduced to this restaurant by some regulars. The staff recognized my friend's names and their usual orders, which was impressive. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious.

This is my favorite spot for Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, the service is outstanding, and the food is some of the best I've ever tasted. I just wish they offered omurice or other traditional Japanese dishes that are hard to find in the area.

This used to be our go-to sushi spot whenever we visited Danville. Unfortunately, we just had a disappointing experience and don't think we'll be returning. Part of our order was incorrect, and the rolls were filled with low-quality ingredients, with the premium items barely visible. Additionally, the sushi didn't taste fresh at all. Once our food arrived, not a single staff member checked on us until it was time to settle the bill, at which point they were very eager to attend to us. Speaking of unpleasantness, there were also quite a few flies on the outdoor patio.

Been a long time since I dined here and forgot how good everything was. From the garlic edamame to the variety of rolls we tried...all were delicious! They have a smaller, but nice patio for outdoor seating. Parking: Dinner time is also workout time for the gym next door...so parking can be a little tough.

Nice place for sushi, nice and clean restaurant and they have a nice outside sitting area.
