Description

Nestled in the heart of Portsmouth, NH, this charming diner combines a delightful 50s theme with a diverse menu that caters to various tastes, including vegan options. While some guests have praised the delicious vegan chocolate chip pancakes and breakfast burritos, others have expressed disappointment with inconsistent service and occasionally cold dishes. Customers note that prices are slightly elevated, reflecting a broader trend in dining today. Despite mixed experiences with food quality and service, many appreciate the diner’s nostalgic vibe and its potential as a go-to breakfast spot, particularly for those seeking vegan-friendly fare. Overall, it’s a place with promise amid some growing pains.

Update 10/7/2021: I had to come back and make him a star, because I had one of the sadst meal times of my life from here. I have the pancake monster for delivery. $19 for two eggs, two pancakes, a sausage link, secrets and cheese. $22, to make everything vegan. I get my food and it's in the grunde lukewarm, raw tofu with some pfeffer for the tofu scrambble. small portion of kartoffel. super thin, dry pancakes. vegan sausage was ok? total waste of money. just drive into the city for donut villa or veggie galaxie. original overview: earlier I liked to go to the in the city of boston, but I met the danvers a maybe a month ago and the menu is radically different w/ only three or so options from a massive meat milk heavy menu. I also felt very sick in this night and suspected they were not particularly careful with cross-contamination. updated by previous review on 2022-10-07

I had the vegan chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast burrito, and vegan pasta, and they were all delicious! They also offer vegan ramen, burgers, power bowls, scrambles, and tofu sandwiches. The atmosphere is quite fun too! It's a great place for non-vegan friends as well.

Really excited to have some vegan diners in the opposite without going to boston. it's expensive, but hey, what's not in these days. the waiting staff seems hit or miss when it comes to vegan savvy, but to the luck there are some options on the menu that are vegan as is. I would recommend the vegan breakfast burrito over everything else to breakfast. it is delicious and they know that it is vegan. the john scrambo “made vegan” is pretty good, but it seems a bit confused about what is toast vegan. they have confirmed that the gluten-free toast is vegan. but it's $1 more for gluten-free toast, so I decided from now on to get it without. I love that the dinge on the menu are clearly marked and that there are vegan cheese. we didn't try anything from dinner.

It was nice to go to a diner who had options and was on the ground.

This charming diner has a delightful 50s theme and features fantastic music. It offers a variety of vegan options, including vegan pancakes, tofu bowls, vegan sausage for breakfast sandwiches (note that the English muffins are vegan but contain soy), a vegan breakfast burrito, vegan ramen, and even a burger option!
