**Restaurant Review: A Culinary Mixed Bag** Nestled in a charming location, this restaurant presents a diverse experience for diners. While some patrons faced lengthy wait times and lackluster food, others enjoyed delightful encounters and memorable meals. The pizza received praise for its crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and quality toppings, complemented by friendly staff and a clean atmosphere. Dishes like the Chicken Parm Pizza and Jumbo Thai Chicken Tenders were particularly well-received for their generous portions and exceptional taste. Despite occasional service missteps, the restaurant's commitment to quality shines through, making it a worthwhile stop for pizza lovers and families alike.
When I first opened the boxes, I thought the pizza looked quite basic, so I decided to dive right into the chicken. It was amazing! The chicken strips were more like the size of chicken breasts—huge and absolutely delicious. The sauce, the breading, the freshness of the chicken, and the fact that there were no weird bits or tendons made it spectacular! After indulging in the chicken, I figured I should at least give the pizza a try. I was completely wrong about it being basic; while it may not have looked like much, even my daughter, who isn’t usually a fan of pizza, loved it. Everything was fresh—awesome pepperoni, fantastic cheese, the perfect sauce, and a wonderful crust. Everything was delicately balanced. I would recommend both the chicken strips and the pizza 1000%! If you're visiting from out of town, do get both; you won't regret it. I apologize to the pizza for calling it basic; it truly shone beneath all those toppings! Haha!
We were only staying for one night, so we chose this restaurant without any prior knowledge of its reputation. When I called to place an order, the gentleman on the phone was incredibly polite, which made for a pleasant experience right from the start. After placing our order, I went to pick it up and was greeted by the same cheerful man I had spoken to earlier—who turned out to be the owner. It was clear that he takes great pride in his business. I shared with my wife how enjoyable the interaction was. When we got back, the kids and I were thrilled with how delicious the pizza was. Coming from Pennsylvania, where we have high standards for pizza, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality here. The food was so memorable that we’re still talking about it days later, and the atmosphere was great, too.
I placed a takeout order at 4:40 and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, but I didn't receive it until 5:40. There was no apology for the delay, and the staff didn’t even make eye contact with me. The service was terrible!
Danvers pizza becomes our favorite place to grab pizza. We?ve been here for more than 5 times now and loved the pizza. Their topping was very generous and fried chicken topping was our favorite- very crispy but not oily at all. Their staff is sofriendly, everyone we interact with was friendly and welcoming. Love this little store and will definitely come back again.
We were only staying the night so we chose this place with no knowledge of what is good. I call to order and the gentleman on the phone was so polite that this alone was a nice experience. We order and I pickup to see the face of the man I spoke to. Heis gleaming with joy and I quickly notice he is the owner of the company. It shows that he is putting pride into this. I tell mywife that it was a nice a nice interaction. We get back and the kids and I are ecstatic at how good the pizza is. We are fromPennsylvania and have great Pizza but we're very happy with this establishment. Great food that we are still thinking about dayslater and a great atmosphere.
