This was my 1st visit to this location. My party purchased tickets online a week before the Ricky Smiley Karaoke Show. Arrived and got in line at 5:30, doors were supposed to open at 6. At 6:10 asked the staff what time were they expecting to open. The person in front indicated 5 mins from the closed doors. At 6:21pm. There were about 5 wait staff near the front door by then. They didn't acknowledge those of us who had been in line for almost an hour now instead, they were laughing and dancing this I found to be dehumanizing). The doors finally opened at about 6:45pm. I immediately requested to speak with the manager on shift. After being sat and still waiting for the manager for another 20 mins. or so the manager came over to speak with me. He explained the staff aren't allowed to open the door or say anything and that they hadn't opened up because Ricky and his team were late. Regardless of the reason, it's only common courtesy to inform the guests of the delay.

I love comedy, comedians and the entertainment However, they are consistently lacking in customer service support.I paid for VIP tix … but still takes FOREVER to order drinks or food… even when I arrive an hour before show starts. Drinks come and beer is warm, margarita does not have salt rim as promised and the entire night we never saw a napkin. It seems they have a lot of staff members so I am not sure what the issue is. People at the next table had their hot food for a while before silverware ever showed up, even after asking 3 separate people to bring them. Such a let down

What an absolute scam and waste of my time. I bought 2 tickets Meet and Greet for Channing Crowder on their website weeks before the show. On Saturday night I receive a call from a unlisted number saying she is from the Improv and I need to buy VIP or GA tickets for the show as I only purchased Meet and Greet . I paid over $100 for the 2 tickets, now this woman is saying I am not trying to scam you , which is a huge red flag, and I need to pay more to attend the show? I told her I would go online a purchase GA tickets but again they only list Meet and Greet and VIP. I called the box office before I left for the show and was rudely spoken to by Tamara, the manager who kept me on hold for 30 minutes, then hung up on me. I had to spend the next 30 minutes trying to get someone to answer the phone, which they did not. The manager said she would refund my money, which I still have not received. My wife and I were looking forward to seeing our friend Channing, but wound up having to make new plans last minute. I plan to contact the Improv corporate office and letting them know about this horrible situation. Don 't get caught up in the Improv Dania Beach scam.
