This place was delicious and so underestimated. we were looking for lobster to dinner and the busies place we came by, decided to go upstairs and so glad we did! the food was delicious and the drinks were good. it is a cash only place, but they take usd. the restaurant is operated by a family and they all take care of them and make sure they have everything they need. we have the garnel and bananenpupusas, lobsterceviche and lobster burrito. we (2 of us) didn't need the lobster burrito, but I would go back and just eat the lobster ceviche!
Whyunga is a true gem on the island of San Pedro. They offer an excellent selection of tacos, tostadas, pupusas, and burritos. My American friends, don’t let the menu descriptions mislead you into thinking this is Taco Bell. These dishes were fantastic, and that’s coming from someone who lives in Texas! I ordered a seafood pupusa, and it was packed with shrimp and bursting with delightful flavors—it was heavenly! My friend had a shrimp burrito, and I couldn’t resist stealing bites from her plate.
The best lobster I had perfectly cooked and juicy on our trip! the pupusas were also amazing. do not miss this place.
Great local restaurant and bar!! The cocktails were handmade craft drinks. We had the lobster burrito which will blow your mind!!! Lobster inside, on top, and all around! Reasonably priced as well!!
