I recommend this restaurant for its location and affordability. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The beautiful docks right by the water add to the charm. The cabins are a bit cramped, with limited space for relaxation or entertainment, and the air conditioning unit was not very efficient and quite noisy. What Lucas Georges doesn't like about Barefoot Beach Belize Resort:
The room was extremely small( my fault for not asking enough questions) and didn't have a mini fridge but every maintenance issue we had the owner took care of immediately! Especially since our first issue was the AC leaking at night and getting her maintenance man there in less than 20 minutes. Barefoot beach was great. my friend and I rented the parrot perch room for 2 weeks. bugs the women they met at check-in monitored the being and was very hospitable and accommodating. we were made available bikes to drive the island, but ended everywhere too foot, as places were not far. she mentioned us gerald and gerald co. who took us on a snorkeling tour that was so much fun that we also booked them for a full day fishing trip. I would recommend staying here during your stay.
Our family found barefoot beach in a perfect location on the island, which offers a little quieter and peace than in the main strip. the bikes that are made available were perfect. I would say not disturb renting an expensive golf car, they can really be anywhere they need on the bikes. the room was simple and clean. the manager before place was very friendly and sweet with our daughter. even if we made a lot of ozean swim, the pool was still a nice option and our daughter enjoyed it. we were in the oceana room and had a great view of the sea.
Great location. simple yet clean accommodation. a swimming pool on the beach. a dock to swim. palmen waving. meerblick. free bikes to explore the island and a pleasant and always helpful staff. would recommend everyone without reservation! many thanks for a week in paradise!
This is a great spot located right on the beach facing Belize amazing Barrier Reef system. There is a wonderful Palapa and dock over the water which is a great hang out and relaxation spot. Staff was very friendly. Minely made us feel welcome the minute we arrive. Room was clean. Very peaceful environment overall.
Simple room, close by different restaurants or bars. We enjoyed the bikes that we were allowed to use (no additional cost) kitchen is very very simple but it works, has a fridge and a gascooker. AC worked nicely. Unfortunately we had a visit of one cockroach, but besides that it was clean. I would have liked a shower rack for shampoos. We really liked to spend our relaxing evenings by the pier dock, just for barefoot beach guests
