We had big stewed rice and beans with chicken. Plan to wait for a while. Most places in Hopkins took a while to get the food. They do not cook it, probably because of the lack of storage at proper temperatures, but it was worth waiting. We would often order from 2 places and plan the trip strategically and who wanted to wait there. View all feedback.
Really nice authentic garifuna food. My first time having hudut and it was fantastic. My wife enjoyed her fried fish (she asked that the head be left on). We also tried the appetizer of fried plantains and cheese which was also delicious; the plaintains were freshly prepared. Overheard the very kind, soft spoken older gentleman who was serving us tell a party of expat regulars that he caught the fish himself earlier that day. Don't come here if you are in a hurry as things are cooked to order. But that means fresh food and I'd definitely take that any day.
Wonderful traditional Garífuna food! We had the Hudutu and fried fish plates. Both were very good and nothing like what we eat at home.
Wonderful local fare. The stewed chicken was excellent, tender with great flavor. The fish and chips were good. A dash of Marie Sharp's made the fries pop. Very authentic local cuisine and very affordable
Innie's never disappoint especially when it comes to Hudut. The coconut milk broth is absolutely amazing because they use real coconut not like other places I've tried. The fish was fresh and the scotch bonnet pepper heightened the flavor.
Food was great! Beautiful owners who run the place for 27 years! This is the place to get Garifuna cuisine.
