What Denise Hatcher dislikes about Mill Yard:
The people were nice, but as we stood for 25 min waiting for ice cream, we watched the lady who was cooking touch everything on the plates several times with no gloves on. She moved the food around on each plate 2 to 3 times, all the time with her bare hands. Not one person, who was cooking, behind the counter had gloves on. My husband and I actually pulled into the parking lot to deal with our dog. We were driving from Houlton to Ellsworth. We ended up eating there. It was soo good. My hubby had steak and cheese and I had a tuna melt. We shared fries and each had a shake. Everything was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. If we’re in the area again we will stop in for sure.
Small Town gas station rest stop with little restaurant. Good food and even better brownies love this place and this town everyone knows everyone

There is no signs saying that they do not accept Food stamps. I watched 2 different people be turned away because they don't accept food stamps.
